UtilizeCore is currently seeking a Full Stack Senior Ruby On Rails Engineer to join our team. We are looking for a qualified candidate to join our Navi Mumbai office.

Job Description:

  • At least 4+ years of industry experience relevant in ROR.
  • Understand the application requirements.
  • Design, Develop and test the requirements.
  • Knowledge on DevOps and agile methodologies is an added advantage.
  • Proficient in the following skill set
  • Ruby, Rails, HTML, CSS3, Javascript & Jquery, MVC concepts
  • Good troubleshooting and debugging skills are must.
  • Should have knowledge on API development and UI development using Ruby.
  • Should have knowledge on any of the version control.
  • Be able to lead a team of mid and junior developers, guide them and maintain high coding standards using RoR best practices.
  • Be proficient with creating Restful API's for third parties, Also understand and implement code using third party API's.
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
  • Have experience in using gems like carrierwave, devise, oauth etc.
  • Have used server side templating languages like SLIM.
  • Have excellent working knowledge of Front-End development using Bootstrap, CSS3, JQuery/ReactJS/AngularJS.
  • A knack for writing clean, readable Ruby code
  • Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
  • Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes
  • Able to implement automated testing platforms and unit tests
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools like GIT.
  • 5 or more years working with databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
